wtf is going on?

i feel like the government is spying on me working on my comptuer... i'm researching this article on the carlyle group to be distributed at a demo, and everytime i get into it, my computer crashes. i know it sounds paranoid, but if script kiddies can figure out back orifice, you've gotta imagine the feds have some shit better than carnivore that they're not talking about. perhaps i need a better firewall...
