Democracy in Peril, Take Note!!!!

A line to hurt California, and a warning to us all.
At least someone's got the flag the right way round.
Now of course, that this Recall Election, Special Intrest subversion of democracy is in full swing, (ok a bad cliche) it might be a good time to think about the Outcomes.

1. Arnold gets 20% of the vote and wins. Yes, If the Recall "Yes Votes" get a majority, and then Arnold gets the majority of those, out of 135 canidates, it could be higher or lower. but could still be winning. Of course, keep your hopes up for Mary Carey too.
2. Recall is said no to, and Davis stays, kills the recall provision, and all will be good. (This is what we all want, everywhere)
3. Davis is recalled, Gary Coleman is elected, and Friday Larry Flint launches a recall effort. (ok, that would be just fun. it would be followed Monday by California's falling off into the ocean.
4. You really want to find out? Well, there's always military intervention. (and i had a bad feeling about riots this afternoon, you know that all of a sudden something really bad is about to happen and i have no idea what where or how, just bad bad bad feeling.)

Anyway, to chime nafta, "Reresentative democracy is a sham" (anyone seen or heard from him, i figured he's be foaming at the mouth over this!)

[update 12pm EST] ok, so it looks like it will lean towards the first outcome. aghnold will win with an ass-grabbing Diebold and chad counting slim margin. as in really, no matter what happens when I get out of bed tomarrow, there will be a few lawsuits, some name calling, and probably some form of unauthorized Arnie-Orgy Celebration party video. Probably with Rove, Rummy, Cheney, and Issa, ganging up on some old pieces of paper and a greenish blowup doll. Damn nazi lovers win it again. damn it Damn it Damn it. Make it Stop!!!!!! Or at least teach the world to roll.

[update 7:30, 10/8/03] I hope California enjoys it's ass grabbing Nazi loving Terminator Govenor. celebrity won, by grabbing about 45% of the actual recall vote, but sadly, only about 10% of the total population of the State, excluding the Illegal aliens, which might be found at a Planet Hollywood running the kitchen. (but i think arnie pulled out of that one) So it actually seemed that California didn't actually care enough about it's own state to turn out and vote on it. 20% of the state turned out to vote. I would have expected at least 40 to 49 % of the state. not 50 of course.
Why does this bother me so much? Why make something like this my first post? Well, Bohemian Grove, Nazi Sympathizing, Bad Actors getting elected to powerful positions do that to me. And of course, those damn Diebold voting machines.
