power deregulation to blame for blackouts
bush i & ii's deregulation of the power industry enabled both the california and north eastern energy crises. so says respected journalist greg palast, as well as the ny times.
i know you libertarians just love to be right, and hell, at times, i find myself agreeing with many of your posits, but can't you just face facts when they're staring you in the face? when you let the corporations run wild, this is the type of shit you have to contend with... it was the invisible hand of the free market that shut off the power thursday.
