Please do not make any major changes to your website for the next couple of days, particularly in Plesk (if you have Plesk access), as we'll be upgrading our server to a much faster machine with more RAM and a much, much larger hard drive.

If you run a blog via Blogger, don't worry about it--you can keep posting. Anything that gets lost in the backup will be preserved in Blogger's database.

Those of you with message boards should be the most concerned. While the transition should be seamless, the potential of losing a few messages here or there is a good possibility. If you experience such, we will do our best to recover all lost messages.

Also, if you have spam filtering activated on your email accounts, I have to go back and do this by hand and can't remember everyone I've activated for, so please let me know who you are.

Again, I reiterate--this should be a seamless transition. You should not experience any downtime on your website or with your email, though honestly you may lose a couple of messages while the DNS propagates. We've done everything we can to try to prevent this from happening but you never can tell...
