Today marks the 40th anniversary of the assasination of President John F. Kennedy, in what was an apparent coup by the National Security apparatus to unseat a man who was no longer interested in playing war games with American dollars and American lives, and who was in the process of making peace negotiations with Fidel Castro as well as dissolving the CIA. America died on this day, in 1963.
