Iraq's new Governing Council has decided, with a little help from their new friends at the IMF, to privitize everything except oil. After all, it wouldn't be right to give Halliburton some compitetion.. err I mean give the Iraqis the impression we were after their resources. It is no surprise that this has taken place before any democratization has occured in Iraq, before any elections have taken place. These are unelected officials, appointed by the US making these decisions; if this isn't colonialism, what is?
