radical ideas

over the past few months i've noticed that i've accumulated a massive amount of things... things that i'm not necessarily using, and things i don't want to throw away. i'd rather see them put to good use, n'ah i mean? well, a couple of weeks ago i thought about the idea of running a free store. and i think right after i was stricken with this idea, i heard about this girl who was running a free store in my neighborhood, tho i have no idea where nor how to find her. anyway, after having read hakim bey's essay "the occult assault on institutions," i am more determined to make this idea a reality. so, i'm pitching this to you, my "bee," to see who else in the jakeneck clan would be down for to collaborate on a little purging festival... just take all the junk and funk you're too attatched to to throw away, but not so attatched that you couldn't part with, and we'll set up a free flea market one day this spring. anyone interested?

i'd also like to discuss the possibility of conducting a monthly potluck. anyone got any interest in that?

oh, and one more thing: in my mass accumulation of shit over the past few years, i've built up a huge library of political and religious propaganda and all sorts of miscellaneous and interesting documents from all different sides of the fence. i've collected some really interesting shit and i'd sort of like to donate the archive to a library but doubt any would be interested. i'd be even more excited to put the whole thing online, but the scanning is so arduous and time consuming, and the hard drive space it'd take would be enormous... anyone have an ideas for what i could do with all this stuff? this one dude, chipe rowe was doing a 'zine for a while called chip's closet cleaner, which took all bizarre shit like this and assembled it into a monthly publication. neat idea, but also impractical for me right now... what could i do with all this stuff?
