drum circle madness

nyc drum & dance is taking over the L train today for a community drum circle... haven't made it down to the station yet, but i suspect much fun for all.

it's been somewhat disappointing that i haven't been able to make it to the jcc's drum cricle on thursday nights since i've been taking classes tuesdays & thursdays, but i'm looking forward to spending purim with the event's organizers, shoshana jedwab and rabbi jill hammer, who are organizing an interperative megillah reading/drum circle for 'the new shul', at the 1st presbyterian church (12th & 5th) on monday, march 17 @ 7:30 pm.

i am also very excited for spring, which means the annual ny rainbow picnic and drum circle is coming. yay!
