bloomberg is a dork

...at least, that's the word according to new york magazine. "the classic hopkins grad isn’t just a dork; he’s a dork with a superiority complex." new york reports that bloomberg's approval rating is down to 46% and rapidly decreasing. (c/o bonnie)

as an employee of the board of trustees at johns hopkins, my friend bonnie used to chauffer bloomberg around. based on her interactions with "hizzonner," she suggests that the guy is not just a dork, but a dick too—a dick with a sordid history (to his own admission)... but a history, not unlike dubya's, that says what's good for the goose, ain't good for the gander. or, in other words, "i'll have all the youthful indescretions i want... you, on the other hand, are going straight to jail."
