what do they know that we don't? are they gonna lambaste him for his anti-war stance or something? maybe they want an adamantly anti-war candidate so that, finally, come the election cycle, they can uncover a vast array of WMD (read planted WMD), and then use it to paint him into a corner. "see, he's no patriot! he didn't believe us! look at all these weapons! he would've gotten us killed! traitor!"
