more on the economics of war

this one slipped under the radar back in february...so i'm unearthing it. i am not an economist. i have never taken economics. hell for the most part, i don't even understand economics. but here's some interesting fodder... we're all aware that the dollar is getting the shit kicked out of it by the euro. but were you aware that iraq, one of the world's largest oil producers, switched over to the euro in late 2000?

could the preservation of the failing dollar in fact be the real reason behind the war in iraq?
