space shuttle tragedy

in memory of the space shuttle columbia crew
you know i detest g.w. bush... the second i heard he was gonna speak i started praying he wouldn't do something stupid, like mention iraq. but his speechwriters did the right thing today. and i was admittedly stirred.
In the words of the prophet Isaiah: "Lift your eyes and look to the heavens. Who created all these? He who brings out the starry hosts one by one and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing."i've always been a space geek. even to this day i still dream about going to space. i was six when i watched the challenger explode. i was crushed. today i cried... i cried hard. maybe i'm too emotional, but this hurts man. this hurts. my blessings and prayers go out to the families of all the crew. but i will especially mourn the loss of ilan ramon. he was my bona fide hero. and he is gone.
The same creator who names the stars also knows the names of the seven souls we mourn today. The crew of the shuttle Columbia did not return safely to Earth; yet we can pray that all are safely home.
