somebody blew up the spot

just a quick heads-up... amiri baraka, the nj poet laureate who became entangled in a web of controversy after penning his poem "somebody blew up america" (which some sensationalists who apparently don't know how to read pegged as both anti-semitic and anti-israel, momentarily myself included) will be reading at the bowery poetry club tonight, tomorrow and sunday, two sets per night at 8 & 9:30, for $20.
